Hello!
We are a team working for the State Office of Criminal Investigation and we are responsible for the red-light district in Hamburg (LKA 65).
If you have any concerns in cases of prostitution, please feel free to contact us.
The following circumstances might indicate that you have become a victim of criminal actions and that you should get in touch with us:
- you are not allowed to determine your own working hours
- you may not keep your income or only a small amount of it
- you are not allowed to determine the range of your offering
- you do not have access to your ID or passport
- you are told the police cause trouble
- you came to Germany because you were told of getting a different job
- you have become a victim of physical and/or mental violence
- your family gets threats in your home country
you have to work for the costs that came up when traveling to Germany
you were told to prostitute yourself to achieve a common purpose
Prostitution is not forbidden. We would really appreciate you having the ability to make your own choices.
We have been working together with different institutions and helplines outside the police and we can arrange meetings or conversations.
If you do not speak German, we can find a translator.
